Thanks to all who stopped by our booth this weekend at the Evergreen Rodeo! We had over 1,000 people who took ETP brochures and our Board and all the volunteers who worked at the event believed it to be a success for ETP.
Dedicated ETP members volunteered their time and were on the scene all day handing out flyers and chatting with the crowd. It was a great day and we were able to tell many new people about ETP and what we stand for.
The text of our flyer read, in part:
We are teachers, firemen, students, local business owners and all sorts of other people. We love our mountain community, the state of Colorado and our country. As citizens, and especially as parents, we want to ensure the freedoms with which we grew up for our children and all future generations.
Our organization is dedicated to individual liberty, free markets, fiscal responsibility and the Constitution of the United States for all Americans. We do this through community involvement to influence public policy for the greater good of all.
We also focus on supporting charities both locally and nationally. Giving back to our community is where change happens first.
There are many things to be worried about these days, but the one thing that binds us all together, regardless of political parties or backgrounds, is that America is a country unlike any other on Earth and we want to see that it always remains so.
