 MARK DAVIDSON

Spokesperson for the committee “For a Safer Evergreen”

Mr. Davidson will speak on the proposed mill levy increase for the Evergreen Fire Rescue.

Born and raised in Evergreen, Mark is the owner of the Davidson Insurance Agency providing property and casualty insurance.  He has served as a volunteer fire fighter with the Evergreen Fire Rescue for 29 years and overall chief for 22 years.  He has been a longtime board member of the Evergreen Metro District and current Board President.  He has also served as a board chairman with the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trustees of the Forest Heights Lodge.

 

 

RON SANDSTROM

Jefferson County Tax Assessor

Mr. Sandstrom will address ballot issues that will directly affect our state.  Mr. Sandstrom

has owned and operated F & S Tax Consultants since 1989.  He has testified and been accepted as an expert witness at County Board of Equalization hearings, State Board of Assessment Appeals hearings, Administrative Boards and District Court on tax issues involving property, sales and use tax matters.  He was the Tax Accounting Manager for Adolph Coors Company, Chief Accountant for Smoler Brothers, Inc. and Assistant Manager of Property Accounting for Reynolds Metals Company.

She completed a residency at University of Colorado Health.  Dr. Vecchio also specializes in Radiology with sub- specialization in Women’s Imaging.  She became politically active and began speaking publicly on healthcare policy with an emphasis on market-driven ideas for healthcare reform.  She has been on radio, internet and television and had her own radio show.  Dr. Vecchio is currently a Healthcare Policy fellow for Centennial Institute, and Healthcare Issues Instructor for Leadership Program of the Rockies.

Glenn, spent 30 years at Martin Marietta, Lockheed Martin (LMCO), Home Depot, Best Buy, Lowes, Jefferson County Government and State Initiatives in various positions including: engineering planning, sales/consulting, operations, administration, subcontract management and with projects including the Instrumentation and Flight Safety System Program (IFSS), the Small Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Program, the Peacekeeper Missile Program, the Barstow, California Heliostat Project and various interplanetary spacecraft. From 1979 through 1982, Mr. Rhoades studied language at the Mangold Institute in Madrid, Spain and at the University of Santiago de Compostella, Spain and philosophy and ethics at L’Abri Fellowship in Huémoz, Switzerland. Mr. Rhoades also served as a member of the National Science Foundation’s workshop on the ethical, societal and legal implications of nanotechnology. On November 16th, 2006 he helped open the University of Colorado’s Nanofabrication Lab which allowed CU entry into the National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN).

Dwight Eckert, (BSEE, MSEE) has over 35 years of experience in Electrical Engineering in the Aerospace Industry. He started his career working on Weapons of Mass Destruction and worked his way into the Space Industry. Much of his career has been in support of the exploration of Deep Space including sample return from the tail of a comet (Wild 2) and Mars Exploration missions. He now works the U.S. manned space program on theOrion spacecraft which fulfills a dream since he watched the early Space
